We look forward to working and worshipping with you at the 2022 Annual Council of the General Conference Executive Committee as we conduct the business of the Church together.
Annual Council will be held at the General Conference headquarters building in Silver Spring, Maryland. As in the past during the pre-pandemic days, the Annual Council will be an in-person, on-site meeting with no provision for joining virtually. The first session of the Annual Council will commence on October 6, at 8:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)/Washington, DC, time.
Please note that pre-meetings scheduled to meet prior to September 30 will take place virtually on Zoom. Members will receive notification by email of any pre-meetings they should attend.
We are praying earnestly and working hard to plan the first on-site Annual Council since the pandemic began. It will be a real joy to see each one of you at the Church headquarters! In preparation for these important meetings, please pray for th eoutpouring of the Holy Spirit on the on the Church, to enable us to maintain our unity, invest in revival, and focus on our mission; thereby motivating every church member to be committed to God’s call and respond with, “I Will Go.”

CHECK-IN ON-SITE
Committee members are required to Check-In when they arrive. Check-In will be at the entrance to the auditorium on Wednesday, October 5, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. and Thursday, October 6, from 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. Late check-in will be in the rear of the auditorium.

SPOUSE PROGRAM
During this year’s Annual Council, there will be meetings for the spouses. This meeting will be held in room 2I-13,14. On Sunday, October 9, from 9:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m. the featured speaker will be Dwain Esmond, Associate Director in the Ellen White Estate. He has a passion for the new General Conference initiative “Back to the Altar” and his presentation will be encouraging families to take breaks from our devices and have regular family worship. There will also be a meeting for the spouses all day Monday, October 10, starting at 9:30 a.m., with Nina Atcheson from Sabbath School and Personal Ministries. Her presentation will be about spending time in God’s Word. On Tuesday, October 11, there will be a special outing for spouses. We look forward to spending time with you during Annual Council!
