We look forward to working with you at the business sessions of the 2017 Annual Council of the General Conference Executive Committee! Session meetings will be held at the General Conference headquarters building in Silver Spring, Maryland from October 5-11, 2017. The first session of the Annual Council will begin Thursday morning, October 5, and business will conclude the following Wednesday afternoon, October 11. As a member or invitee of the General Conference Executive Committee, we welcome you! Your attendance is appreciated, and your contributions valued.
As you prayerfully prepare for these Annual Council meetings, seek God’s wisdom and an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. “Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.”–Eph 4:3-6 KJV
This world is in turmoil; new crises erupt daily and millions need to hear the good news of the Savior’s love and offer of deliverance. It is our privilege to bear the good news! As we focus on actively involving each church member to unite with us in this task, let us draw our strength from God and be about our Father’s business.
